Shirley Cai is a writer and photographer. A Vietnamese Australian, she was born and raised in Western Sydney before moving to the United States. As someone whose life has been informed by movement, she’s interested in exploring and expanding the notions of identity and place.
Her writing has received support from Storyknife and Roots. Wounds. Words. She has also previously served as the Assistant Editor and Art Director for the food journal Peddler.
